Greetings. Just found this forum and it looks great. I am finally ready to blow some coin on some quality audio gear, after decades of interest. I'm strongly considering the Klipsch Heresy IVs. Music played is wide ranging, from metal to classical - with more emphasis on the rock/jazz side... that seems to be these speakers forte. Having friends with K-horns, and my high school in Chico, CA had La Scalas, I appreciate the live-type reproduction of those.

Looking for opinions on a good value integrated amp to drive the Heresies, with a few provisos. This would be a 2-channel system.

Cost: below ~$2k
Streaming input (Bluetooth) capability
Preferably an HDMI input, for TV sound
Phono preamp (I have an early '80s Technics SL-5... haha - would like to try that anyway)
Preferably Class A/B with about 75W per channel or more

Does such a thing exist at that price point? Thoughts? Other options can be considered. Thanks!

Head on over to USAM

I’d really encourage you to think again before going with Bluetooth streaming. It’s a very low resolution connection, and streaming via WiFi is going to give much better quality.

Look at the Bluesound Powernode, Wiim Amp Pro, NAD 3050 or a used M10, or my personal favorite, a used Naim Atom.

Class D like the recommendations by Maryland

I would look at the Ace. Love Simaudio. Class A/B

Thanks for that feedback - will look into those.
