I have founded a new audio and video media company to further the enjoyment of the music and high performance audio and video experience.

http://www.avshowrooms.com

AVShowrooms is based on video reporting, the future of media (IMHO). Quite often, video can provide a more engaging experience than the written word. I began experimenting with short format video media in 2007 for a financial services industry project. I've been videographing ever since. This year, I tested the power of video at the Axpona New York show and the feedback was overwhelming! I attended Top Audio Video in Milan in September and RMAF last month capturing many video reports. The Italian show was simply fantastic and the videos are like "being there".

I believe video is an outstanding media format for show reporting, visiting or touring a company and yes, equipment reviewing. Imagine being with me in my listening studio as "we" set up a new component, and explore the functions and touch points together. The best part is you can listen with me and hear me describe what I'm hearing in real time.

I would love feedback from everybody about the platform. AVShowrooms number one mission is to expand its viewer base and raise awareness for the enjoyment of music and high performance audio and video.

My best,

Great job Peter. Can't wait for the videos of the equipment reviews.

Thanks guys!

We'll have the iphone/pad app in 1st Q 2012. You can hear/see (as long as you don't wreck your car) a review of the latest and greatest gear. Equip. reviews will begin in December.

Looks like I'll have to add Milano and Munchen to my list of audio destinations :D
The Pathos Room did sound quite inviting...considering I'd listened through my laptop speakers

I have the computer as a front end source over the reference system and you really can here the differences between the rooms. The Pathos room was very holographic at the show and is as well on the video in my listening studio.

Indeed...I will have to make an effort to hear the Pathos room at my next audio show, Peter, provided they are exhibiting :)

Interesting concept Peter! I wish you much success, and I've subscribed as well. Also, I started a thread on this over at Blu-ray.com. Hopefully people there will see it and subscribe as well.

Thanks for the posts, John.

I've been getting some bugs out (today) and cleaning it up. I'll have more RMAF 2011 next week. Plus a great AJ. Conti seminar coming soon. Wait till you see the RMAF ZU party room, serious NAD and PSB, and the wild looking Acapella Violoncello IIs.

There are two more tours coming as well!

My best, and thanks for the support.
