Season. IIRC, 12 episodes. Not sure how that fits into the formula unless each is 2 hrs long. Or did I miss the explanation?

Jack is Back! And this time it's local...
Yes, all-action heart-stopping cult series 24 is to return to British screens in May after a four year absence for an adventure set in London.
Sky1 will once again play host to the Emmy award-winning series, starring Keifer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, the heroic lynchpin of the fictional Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) – but with one important change.
For previous series, 24 episodes were shown in a "real-time" structure with each one representing an hour in Bauer's life. But the new series series will take place over just 12 hour-long instalments.
According to Sky, the 12 episodes will still represent Bauer's "real-time" adventures over a 24-hour period. The broadcaster was unable to confirm exactly how this will work in practice given that the new series which will be twelve hours long.
What we can be sure of is that 24: Live Another Day – what Sky is referring to as an “event series” – will premiere on Fox in the US on 5 May with a two-hour special and will air in the UK in the same month. In fact, it is expected to reach UK audience on or near the US date, according to sources.
Shot in London, the series sees Bauer on the run in our capital city and will retain its fast pace and split screen visuals. It will also herald the return of Mary Lynn Rajskub as systems analyst Chloe O’Brian and other regulars Kim Raver (Audrey Raines) and William Devane (James Heller).
Sutherland said: “24 has always had such a global sensibility. But to be able to tell this intense 24-style story with the beauty of Europe’s history and architecture as the backdrop is going to be fascinating. Hopefully, by the time you’re finished watching an episode, you’ll feel like you’ve been there…on the edge of your seat.”
In addition, Sky customers will be able to watch the entire 24 series through Sky’s On Demand service.
Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky1 HD, added: “The scale, ambition and fast-paced energy of the series epitomize everything we look for in a drama for the channel. I can’t wait to bring it back to our customers.”
The first season of 24 will be available from Sky’s On Demand service from February, with the box set of seasons one to eight being available from March.
The original premiered in 2001, with the last series finale airing in May 2010. A television film 24: Redemption was also made and broadcast between series six and seven.
Cuthbert was such a cutie. Too bad she isn't in 24 anymore. With Kiefer defying the years, I don't think she could pass for his daughter anymore.
It's great!
First two episodes well up to expectations
Is it still 12 episodes only? They are 1 hour long each so how will this make 24 if this is the case?
