The King's Singers group says the concert in Florida was cancelled with just two hours' notice.

I love the King's Singers, having listened to them extensively over the years. This news is very disturbing. I'm embarrassed on the group's behalf. But no matter how you feel on the matter, preventing people from enjoying music for such a reason is very sad. What the hell is wrong with us?

Believe me, I can talk about these things all day. But frankly, I'm surprised the moderators haven't intervened to shut the thread due to the clearly political discussion which isn't that surprising given the "bait" of the OP. I posted it as a piece of disturbing musical news. It's similar to the postings here regarding blackballing of Russian musicians and composers following the Ukraine invasion. However, since politics is banned on the WBF, and since you can't really discuss this stuff without talking politics, I propose it would be best to close the thread.
