Krell Kps 25S fixed output problems

Hi , a friend brought me his kps25s , fixed output delivers a low freq pulse ( i know because it moves the woofer ) to the left speaker , then , 10 seconds later to the right speaker , this happens all the time , at a fixed timeframe (10secs) variable output is ok tho.
Both variable and fixed boards were tested in my kps25sc and they work ok .
Krell guys gave me no hope …… anyone here that could guide me to make that 25s to smile again?

Sadly I don't have a quick fix for you. What you need to do is to find a reputable repair shop with experience in audio electronics. Sorry I don't have better news for you.

I do have one , but they told me problem could be in the DAC , and that is a sealed unit on kps25s’s

Ah, the UltraAnalog module. Tough. I would ask to get a confirmation if it actually is the DAC's fault. If that's the case either open it up (it's faulty anyways), or look for a device you can scavenge for that. That's what I would do if I were you.
