Hi
I want to get my Golden Gate upgraded to the engine 11 or 11p but I'm having trouble deciding which one. The 11 is about a 2k dollar cost and the 11p 4k cost. The unit already has the upgraded caps and JLS card so it's basically just the engine and associated parts and adjustments. Will I be leaving a lot on the table by getting the 11? I know everyone has said going to the 11 from the 53 is a no brainer, but I don't see any info on the upgrade from 11 to 11p.
Anyone?
Thanks.

I did the upgrade of my balanced GG1 to 11P, new VC and USB card. Its amazing except I am not sold on USB. S/PDIF sounds better still. They moved the power button to the bottom and I couldn't find it for a long time.

I suspect you will neither sleep well or pay the shipping again if you don't upgrade to 11P now.

Thanks for the reply. I'm already an I²s guy and had that put into the GG a few years back. It certainly is a better sounding connection than USB in my system.

I assume the "engine" is an AKN chipset yes?
