Lampizator I2SoverUSB

I don't understand how Lampizator uses I2SoverUSB. I looked over the website, but I didn't understand that either. Is the server/streamer supposed to have I2S or USB? I don't see I2S to USB cables, so I'm assuming I'd use the USB connection out of the streamer. So how/where does the I2S come into play. I emailed Lukasz but I didn't get a reply.

Lampizator are using a USB to I2S converter board in the DAC's "input". This board converts the USB signal to I2S, as needed by the DAC chip. This board used to be the Amanero one in older models and has now been replaced by the JLSounds one.
