Synergy is one thing but comments such as "unlistenable", "the best" do nothing for a discussion. From my perch and IMHO these kind of comments make a discussion basically worthless and does nothing but call into question the legitimacy of the person using such a qualifier.

I agree. Several of those who in this thread who have been critical of the LS have failed to offer substantive criticisms. We have only heard that it's "rather hifi" or "unlistenable" or "don't find myself signing along". These are worthless criticisms without further context. Why not mention a particular recording and tell us specifically what harm was done to that recording by the LS that made it sound unlistenable?

Has anyone tried the LH split cable with battery power?

Yep tried it with a battery and also running the power leg into the filtered USB power on my music server (Antipodes DX) much prefer the filtered output from the music server. I am using it with the LH DaVinci DAC, I have tried several USB cables including the AQ, Heimdall and the LH cable absolutely flogs them. I am keen to try out the Computer Audio Design cable will be ordering one this week.
