MARANTZ SD4000 WIRE PROBLEM.

Hi all new to this site.
Can anyone help, I have a Marantz SD4000 and as I was changing the belts I noticed a red wire from the motor had come away form somewhere and was wondering if anyone can help tell me where it sould go.

I'd recommend posting over on the Tapeheads forum if you haven't already done that.
 
Hi thank you. I do have a service manual but I am not technically minded and don't understand it. Was just hoping somebody knew where the red wire went. Thanks again.

I think is broke from motor circut board internaly unscrew the back plate of the motor.20250305_212648.jpg
Sorry i see when i zoom in pic the motor have 4 wires , the red is not from motor.
This is b+ wire of motor goes powersupply

On the online shematics i can't see where the motor get + voltage. Bad photograph not all of shematics you can see.

I think it comes from board called p 900 (powersupply) nomaly when you switch "on" the motor runs at the most tapedecks.
 
If the other end of that red wire is not going to the motor, then it seems like this end should. The schematic shows four wire connections to the motor. How many do you see connected to the motor at the moment?

There is 4 wires going to the motor, my problem is I don't know where the red wire from the motor goes to as it has come loose from somewhere. Thank you for your help. Gordon.
