I recently went through the first season of this Showtime series- while the material is pretty adult, especially in the first few episodes, I must say the show is quite good. Around episode 5-6, you really get hooked. Very interesting character development and depth that few shows challenge. While it may be tempting to relate the show to Mad Men, its not so dark/brooding.

Acting performances are excellent, although Masters doesnt really escalate till later in the season. Johnson and Libby are spot on and Jane is such a joy to watch onscreen.

Highly recommended- although as we saw with Homeland, Season 3, you never know how long a show can stay on top.

I saw the entire series and thought it was terrific.

This one's been sitting around on my 'to watch' list for a while. I was worried that it might be a tad slow or lack plot (didn't really get into Mad Men for this reason).
