Winter is coming to the Emmys.

Game of Thrones earned a leading 19 Emmy Award nominations Thursday morning, including Outstanding Drama Series and nods for Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey.

Aside from the HBO hit, other top contenders included Fargo (18 nods), American Horror Story: Coven (17), Breaking Bad and The Normal Heart (16 apiece), Saturday Night Live (14), House of Cards (13) and COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyseey, Downton Abbey, Orange Is the New Black, Sherlock: His Last Vow, and True Detective (all with a dozen nominations).

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences unveiled the nominees in a live ceremony emceed by Mindy Kaling of The Mindy Project and The Voice host Carson Daly.

Here's a look at the shows and actors who'll be competing in the biggest categories at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards. The star-studded soiree airs live Aug. 25 on NBC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

here's hoping True Detective wins big. Best show on TV this past year and they won't let GOT ever win that category because its fantasy.

Cranston has won 3x already and quite frankly, our boy McConaughey deserves it. You're probably right that BB wins the category.

What's interesting is BB, MM, and TD are all short seasons and nominated.
