Munich video thread 2025

A Silbatone tradition caught on Sunday.

Whole Lotta Love by Led Zep which they love to blast out every year they are there pretty much.

Presented like nothing else in the show can do, in all honesty. Committing technical sins by the shovel but it just doesn't matter when you hear it.

This did a good job but the best rendition I have heard was years ago listening with Ked in a different WE set up.

Listening to this video via decent headphones gets nowhere close to the experience which kinda makes the post a bit pointless. You just need to be there to understand, really. That simple.

Those of you attending the show, I recommend visiting the Silbatone room at 18:00 (show closing time), Daniel Kim from AnalogTechnik plays his range of cartridges (mono/stereo) with beautiful (real) music tracks. Sounds sublime.
Please explain why he waits until closing time to play (real) music?

Many rooms let loose late Saturday. YG went mega loud, for instance. It's the best time when most have gone, TBH.

2 winners for me:

Iphone 14 pro max

Samsung S23 ultra

Both these phones seem to capture sound better than later models, could be something to do with waterproofing requirements.

Perfect way to put it! I was there (again) for the obligatory Zep song and it was a mess and glorious at the same time! You hear what's wrong but don't care!

"I doubt anyone who experienced this Holy Trinity of sound, price, and visual drama will forget it any time soon. With full orchestral fare, the system brought me closer to the impact of the real thing—from a prime seat in a lively concert hall—than any audio rig has ever taken me." JVS Stereophile

"The problem here is that in promoting the WAMM-based system as the best-of- the-best – and then failing to deliver so catastrophically, Audio Reference simply delivered ammunition to those who belittle high-end audio and its claimed benefits. This display of hubris did little to advance the cause of the distributor, even less to advance the cause of high-end audio in general. " Roy Gregory GY8.eu

Here are show reports about the exact same thing in the exact same room in the same show by two reviewers.
Talk among yourselves LOL

Would you care to enlighten us which system you are talking about ?
My post was reviews of the WAMM system at MOC 2025. These are the words of two different reviewers not mine. I apologize I corrected the post so that it indicates where it came from.
