A lot changed in the year and still have a few more on the way. All Cables switched or in the process to Cardas, new phono stage Gold Note PH 10, streamer Gold Note DS 10, both Gold Note PSU’s, new Ethos SPU cartridge, acoustic panels with 2 more on the way and the new Ortofon 9” arm on the way to replace the JVC 7045 arm. New TV too and the wife held me back some…. lol

I found your post when searching on SPU Ethos.
Would you please share your experiences with this particular SPU during the past couple of months?
Much appriciated.

Best regards, Tony

Hi Tom, sorry for the delay getting back in touch. Had some health issues keeping me away. I only 2 SPU’s. The other being the E1 in comparison the Ethos is more musical. I still find them lacking to handle rock music like AC/DC but it really shines with jazz and more vocal style music like Laura Nyro, Mavis Staples, etc. Sorry I‘m not the best at expressing or explainin myself. But at the price point I found it much better than the SPU E1. Hope this helps
