Need Powercords for MPS-X and MPD-8 into Shunyata Everest --> Omega XC

I’m currently running a shunyata everest with Omega XC to the wall outlet. I understand that one of the criticisms of Shunyata is that it often attenuates dynamics, whether that may be true or not I don’t know but I now have an MPD8 DAC and MPSX and I need power cables for those. I’ve been told and believe that power cables to DAC and Streamer have the most affect while amp is further down the line and less important(which in my case is a Feliks Envy).

I don’t want to overdo the “shunyata effect” (if such a thing exsists) and would prefer to balance the sound more by using a different brand to connect these two components to the Everest, they’ll already be getting perfectly clean power from the Everest so maybe it’s better to add some dynamics back in.

I am considering AQ, if anyone could make recommendations I would appreciate it. I also need an XLR interconnect to go from MPD8 to the Envy. For that I was considering the AQ fire, there’s some good deals on used ones.

Also if someone could recommend some cheap signal grounding cables(I've heard signal grounding > chasis grounding), I dont need anything fancy here that would be appreciated. I intend to ground to the Everest. I'll need a signal ground cable for the DAC, amp and streamer.

Also I listen only with headphones, not a speaker guy if that helps.

Your budget for a PC would be helpful, as prices are all over the place. I like and have used AQ for years but recently, I discovered that the AQ cables were holding my system back. Restricting it, if you will. Hi Ike, in my experience the power cable on the amp actually makes the most difference due to power current delivery. Second for me would be the DAC.

I owned the MPD-8 and had recently discovered Organic Reference. I've had a few power cables here and there that made improvements but was floored by what the Organic did. Open, non-fatiguing, rock solid bass and great dynamics. It's also a very flexible cable which was a plus for me. I think Organic is a phenomenal pairing with Playback and whatever amp you have.
