New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Never knew Clay Thompson was Micheal's son.
Great game. What an incredible performance by Lebron. He was the MVP. Steph Curry played well enough but I have seen much better performance from him. The Warriors deserved the win. They wre the best team in the NBA all year.

What a season it has turned out. I was not rooting for the Warriors until the Finals, I was mostly going for the underdogs and where there were ex-Celtics coaches. :D

The Warriors are an amazing team. Got to credit their GM and front office for forming the team as what it is today. 4 'mediums' and a lean guard. And the 4 mid-sized players are fast, furious, tenacious, and can shoot in and out, drive, defend and run the break. This is a team quite different from the championship teams of the Heat and the Spurs, and they are enjoyable to watch. This is a team that lacks the ego that superstars tend to develop. Where else do we see a career starter accepting a bench role all season long except the last 3 games without tantrum but actually excelling in his performance in either role? Where else do we see a $15 million man who virtually was benched all season except the last few games of the Finals and played like he has always been in the rotation? Where else do we see 2 bench players in their last season but starters this season and play like starters who had been there for several years, ie. playing veteran ball? And where else do we see a starting center who was yanked and benched for the last 3 games and yet celebrating and cheering when the title was won like he played all those games? There is no ego in this team, no 'greatest player' of all time claim, yet the MVP of the regular season performed and lived up to his billing, and always humble in interviews, with no trash talk whatsoever. I'm not a Warriors fan but this Finals, they have won my heart and I'm sure those in the Bay area are so ecstatic I can hear the echo of their Warrrr-riors' chant everywhere. :D

Injuries are part of any sport that's why there are back-ups. There are no if's and but's and certainly no asterisk's to me. Steve Kerr said it best when he said he is so blessed and lucky, for being under the helm of such great coaches and learning from them. Most of all, he is blessed and lucky that his team stayed healthy and firm in the grueling season, and they are the survivors of the fittest. They are worthy champions. Am happy for the Bay Area and Warriors fans all over the world.

Well put!

And MJ never said he is The Best. Unlike the king who has no problem with the arrogance in his self proclamation. I will never deny his greatness but with greatness I believe has to come some form of modesty rather than self endearment. Steph beat him with silent finesse and when it was over there was no chest pounding but rather team hugs. Just like Iggy said. He was number 6 but games were won with numbers 7-11

+1

A good opportunity for the NBA to start enforcing the "walking" rules /\.. Lebron has been bulldozing to the basket taking his 4 to 5 steps for a while now .. We'll see how's that goes next year for the self-anointed Best Ever ...

The series to me showed no matter how great the player is, this is a team sport. His absolute arrogance about the way he treated David Blatt makes me think management needs some form of intervention because to let that happen again is a blatant violation of player coach relationship and one has to wonder if Blatt will be back due to that vote of non confidence by His Greatness

James must really think so highly of himself, if not overly. Tim Duncan has 5 rings and never behaved like that. I begin to wonder what he would do to a coach like Pop. James is only 2 of 6 in the Finals. If Ray Allen didn't make that miracle shot, he would have only 1, which is a pretty horrible record for a self professed great one. He's actually in danger of being stuck with 2 titles given this kind of arrogant and un professional attitude, maybe an elite form of a head case. :D

According to reports, Cavs can offer the max at $100m for 5 years. Which makes them money-wise the best choice for Love. With Tristan Thompson having a strong showing in the last Finals, the front line would be crowded and Tristan might have lesser playing time if Love re-signs with the Cavs.

That or Mozgov get's less playing time as Thompson slides to 5.

That's what they call embarrassment of riches, Jack. :D While our teams are just rebuilding. Draft day tomorrow. Exciting day for Steve and his Lakers at pick number 2. :)

I'd take Towns if he's available. I wonder who the Wolves will choose.
