Thanks Myles, good to see some "usual suspects" selected as well as new to me, the DartZeel and the Marten speakers are not a surprise to be part of the PF picks.

An award to power receptacle and fuse.:b

I know, I was sort of looking for more DS's and DAC's or other transitional upgrading type devices and fewer smallish things.
It takes intestinal fortitude.

Yeah, but how about all those Stein "tweaks" from the same reviewer who proposed the Martens??

You say:
"None of the improvements would be possible, however, without the Furutech GTX-D (Au) AC receptacles used by designer Stanard in the Silver Circle 5se."

According to your SCA 5.0SE review and the SCA website, the 5.0SE has Furutech GTX-D (G) outlets.

Thanks for picking up the typo!

Is it a typo?? Au is the symbol on the periodic table of the elements for Gold. Different way of saying the same thing.

Yes, was my scientific subconscious coming out :)

Did you raise a chuckle at the Esoteric CD/SACD ($23k) with 8 S-D DACs in octal diffential configuraton? I did :D If anyone's got a technical justification for such a configuration of DAC chips, I'm all ears!

i have heard the X-01SE and did not think to keep exploring Esoteric. I am always curious but not that curious. I am told by people i trust the P-01/D-01 is a whole other level and far better. Still, happy with where i am.

Nice to see Gary's Genesis G7.2f speakers being a part of this! :D
