Do you have any obvious problems such as audio clicks and pops, or interference on the TV that comes and go? If not, and if your AC power is mostly stable and doesn't flicker often, you probably don't need any "power" type product.

The only power conditioner I've used that made the picture better is the IsoTek Mira from the UK. I have a few - including one on my computer monitor as it seems to make my eyes less tired when I have to work long hours staring at the screen.

But see if you can borrow one to try it out first.
 
I've yet to see a power conditioner improve picture, though of course doesn't mean it's not possible.
 
It's unfortunate that they are not easily available in the US. Their products really work - and I'm a power conditioning skeptic. We used to help them distribute in the US, but the company went bankrupt. Now, they are under new management.
