Hello All!

I recently picked up my first belt drive turntable, a lightly used project essential 3 phono. Recently I have noticed that around every ten times I start it the motor stutters for just a split second, once again, this is not a normal occurrence, but happens every once in a while. If I take the belt off, it does not happen at all, it must be a product of the load from the belt. I don't think it is an issue whatsoever because once it starts it is 100% smooth and sounds terrific. Here is a video and I am hoping you guys can tell me if it is normal for something like this to happen every once in a while. I appreciate the help from all you!

Thank you!
Ben

Also, I just cleaned the platter spindle and applied the appropriate oil to the platter spindle and motor shaft in hopes it would smooth it out. the platter spins extremely smoothly. thanks again -ben
