Question for Spectral owners

Hi everyone
This is my first post here.
I have just recently listened to Spectral gear and I have been blown away. So much so that I have just bought a second hand dmc30 and I am about to buy a dma 100. What bothers me is that the amp makes a loud thump when turned on and some people (not the seller) are telling me that this is normal with Spectral amps, which I found very hard to believe.
If someone could clarify this it would be great.Thanks!

Based on your comment, I think the noise of my amp might too loud ... does this mean the problem is with the amp, with the rest of the system (although my other amps do not make any noise) of both?
Appreciate your insight!

If the noise is consistent you should be fine.
