After speaking with Jack Clark just 6 weeks ago, i learned today from his daughter Kacey that he had passed unexpectedly.

Jack was the owner and technician of JM Technical Arts, a Revox authorized repair shop in Mount Juliet Tennessee. Over the years he did astounding work on a few B77s for me, including a conversion to high-speed 1/2 track which Fed Ex managed to mangle. I’d just sent it back to Jack to be repaired, to learn this really sad news. We’d become friends at a distance, and i valued his wise counsel. He will be greatly missed.

For anyone who has items with Jack, Kacey will be reaching out to you soon. She’s dealing with her father’s home and business by herself, so i think it’s important that we all are as patient as possible in this really trying time for her.

Sad news indeed. Jack did work on my Revox PR99 MKII 7-8 years ago.

Sad news.
