When I had to choose a speaker for my secondary audio system in our Great Room, I had to find one that met the following requirements:

1. Appropriately sized
2. High Wife Acceptance Factor
3. Demonstrated performance

Since I love my Orion's, when I heard about the Lynx the problem was solved. Any company capable of engineering and building the Orion was worthy of trust. So I bought a pair of Lynx's sight unseen. The arrived today. From the moment we first sent music through them it was apparent they shared the same DNA as the Orions. Black, black background, dense mids and highs, detail to die for, and no fatiguing artifacts of any kind. I can only imaging what they will sound like broken in. The great room has a 25 foot ceiling and the room is open to the second floor and the entryway. These speakers driven by the all purpose CH Precision tool called the I1 deliver without compromise. The presentation is much different than the one in my dedicated room. It is like being 20 or so rows back from the stage in a medium sized venue but it is no less satisfying than the heavy duty iron I have upstairs. Mission accomplished. The piano is a rebuilt 1887 Steinway Model C with a PianoDisk player built in. When hi fidelity sound reproduction just won't do, it plays live music to die for. Many thanks to Ron Buffington of Liquid HiFi for a pleasurable sales experience and above and beyond the call of duty personal assistance with the set up.

Wonderful! Let us know more about the sound once you've got some time on them and you've nailed the dial.
