Speaker "Upgrade" – YG Anat Reference II Incoming!

Congratulations on getting some great speakers. I own YG Sonja XV speakers since 2018 upgraded to "i" in 2022. Yoav Geva designed speakers to be very neutral without smearing the sound. That is what they do better than any other speakers I have heard. This means they sound like the gear in front of them and you can choose the sound you want. I listen mostly to classical music so use Boulder 1110/3060 to maximize the YG unique ability to play detail -- hearing the strings in the orchestra string section and not just the string section, the voices in the chorus not just the chorus. The Boulder also has the speed snd grunt to get the extreme dynamic range of the YGs.

If you want a more audiophile sound, sometimes called warm, musical, liquid, organic, natural, they can do that really well, too. My choice for that sound would be the Vinnie Rossi amps.

I owned the Anat II reference professional 10 years ago and liked them a lot,
I tried several amps and ended up with the Krell Evolution 600 monos,
which were the best in control and tonal blend.

Enjoy the speaker’s.

Is your Bacch in the chain doing room correction? (And if “yes” then how is that impacting your new sonics?)
Bacch is doing room correction. It ”listens” to the room. I get all the benefits from the Bacch that is described in lenght by other users and by ”officials” at TAS. Are there back draws? For sure. You need a computer with Roon. You need the I-pad to control the system and an infra-red-camera that observes you. There is a ton of tweeks in the software so Bacch is for tech-savvy people.
