My friend lend me a Cisco Enterprise Switch and I finally have a chance to test Sablon Ethernet Cable. In comparison, I have a WW Starlight LAN cable from my friend.
Setup up as below:
Asus router->supra cat8 LAN-> cisco switch-> sablon/WW Starlight LAN-> SGM extreme
I have been trying these 2 cables for the past 2 weeks. Below are my findings:
1. WW starlight: slightly more extended on HF, but more sterile sounding, congested in complex songs with various instruments, less engaging
2. Sablon LAN: in my opinion it retains the characteristics of other sablon cables: more soul and emotion on vocal, better clarity and separation of music, overall more engaging.
To me, it is an easy winner.
