SAT CF1 and CF1 Ti

Hi Dave,

Thank you for following my posts over the years. Yes, there were many occasions that I thought I found the Holy Grail in vinyl playback, but time and time again it was beaten by another later product. In the past four/five years, there were continuous advances and I was lucky to experience them first hand. It was a very exciting journey.

1) The tungsten spacers were custom-made by a local blacksmith workshop. I made 3g, 5g and 7g with different thickness. As it is just a small piece of metal and simple to mill, they didn't cost much. You can choose different metals to play with, different metal has different sound. This is another topic.

2) CH Precision P10 with Lyra or Kasper do give very attractive sound but it is now beaten by My Sonic Lab Signature Diamond. DS Audio Grand Master Extreme with GM phonostage still is the best all rounded combo. MC cartridge sound is more gorgeous or enhanced, while optical cart is more natural and plain. They are quite different but equally lovely.

If you want to keep it simple, just want to enjoy the music without much hassle. DS Audio GM Ex is for you. For more playful users who want to change cartridges to get different sound and experience then CH Precision P10 is the way to go. Of course, the best is to have both systems 491002279_2885134581656339_5496693502253676599_n.jpg491023893_1231850985321601_4732195584660830517_n.jpgon board.

Thanks again!
This information is gold for me.

On the tungsten spacers, is there a way you can share the contact of your local vendor in a private message? Also with your recommendation on the right materials? Same as you, I’ll order a few
