Seeking Comments on Plan to Update the Ethernet Side of my System

Bonjour from France. I am updating the ethernet side of my audio system to apply learnings of the online community over the last five years. I have read through much of the posts here and at Audiophile Style. As has been said on this forum, there is no consensus and I am not necessarily asking for a recommendation--although any are welcome. I am hoping to receive comments on whether my 'draft plan' makes sense. Here is my plan:

A) Remove fiber converters and expand current 1m optical link to a 16M run from Cisco WS-C2960-8TC-S (I have on hand) to Ubiquiti--ER-X-SFP (to purchase) located at the audio rack; B) Upgrade Finair FTLF1321P3BTL to FTLF1318P3BTL C) Add a third switch, a Korenix Jetnet 3006-M12, (to purchase) located at the audio rack to sit between the Ubiquiti and the audio streamer; D) power Ubiquiti and Korenix with LPS.

Thank you, and any and all comments are welcome.

I happen to own all four of your proposed devices (Cisco 2960, Ubiquiti Egdgerouter, Finisar 1318 and Korenix Jetnet), but found that the singlemode transceivers would not work in that Cisco model so I use a Meraki instead, in this order: Ubiquiti router SFP cage > 1318 > fiber > 1318 > Cisco Meraki switch > Lonlonty cable, Korenix M12 switch > Network Acoustics ENO > EtherREGEN “B” port > Finisar 1475 > fiber > 1475 > LHY FMC > Network Acoustics ENO2 > endpoint. The first two switches have12v iFi SMPS, while the Korenix and EtherREGEN have linear.

I must be crazy to put so many switches in series, with only the music server signal in & out of the Korenix and ER, but sound takes a noticeable step backwards whenever I remove any of them. -And all but the ER cost less than $100 anyway, so I can afford to experiment. Questions?

Someone in the UK is selling off some Network Acoustics cables and a LHY fibre converter.

Looking at the LHY unit, can someone explain the need for a 10Mhz OXCO clock in a FMC? My streamer buffers data and it is then reclocked by the USB output card on the way to the DAC.

Hereabouts:

Ubiquiti USW 24-PoE managed switch - Finisar transceiver - dual mode fibre with SC connector - TPLink FMC - 1m Belden CST 6a.

TPLink powered by a SotM battery, but LHY also do one. And iFi SMPS would also suffice.
SC connection saves the need for a transceiver at the hifi end.

Single mode fibre only needed if your modem/router is more than 550m from your hifi. I live in a large palace, my butler is exhausted running around the place, but not that large.

I don't see any point in connecting the hifi end to the mains, and then spending loads of money on power supplies and stuff to get rid of mains noise. You can power a FMC from a 5v or 12v battery. The whole point of using fibre is a galvanically isolated connection.
