Preparing myself for the ultimate step in 2 channel, room acoustics, the most under rated part of "our chain."
Prior to that I am doing some soundproofing first for 2nd floor tenant to not go nuts as I like to listen for that sonic boom bass wave hitting my chest.
Shout out to Daimon Soundproofing NY for the work. There are not too many good soundproofing companies around in NY. Bulent the owner does not skimp on materials and prices/quotes competitive. It is unfortunate that even a place like NY has limited companies doing soundproofing.
Photos of some of the goodies... top layer to bottom.
1. Rockwool Insulation (I know some opt for regular insulation, personal choice here)
2. Channels
3. Mass Loaded Vinyl
4. Two 5/8" Boards with Green Glue in Between
Extremely happy with the work, highly recommend.
