Hello guys.
So I have a Samsung UE55NU8002 smart TV, and a Sony HT-RT3 soundbar.
My connections are as follows:
TV <-> Soundbar -> HDMI ARC
TV <-> PS4 -> HDMI
I don't use optical cable.
When I watch Netflix via app on TV, I get 5.1 surround from soundbar
Same goes for PS4 games, 5.1 surround
But, when I watch HBO or play YouTube via respective apps on TV, I only get 2 0 sound (rear speakers are not working). Only if I switch the audio mode on soundbar to Clear Audio+, do rear speakers start to work, but still not the true 5.1 surround, more like 2.0 emulation of it.
What does exactly Audio+ do and can I get those other apps to have 5.1?
