Soundbar recommendations please

Hi everyone! I recently moved our 77" LG TV from a stand where it lived on a Sonos sound base which sounded fantastic. Obviously this no longer works for me so I'm hoping to get some recommendations from you all. Samsung seems to be highly rated based on the few online reviews I've found, but open to anything that sounds good. Picture of my space in case that is helpful.

Some surround performance would be nice but I'm not sure if that's a gimmick or if it actually is convincing. If so it may be nice to have, if not then just good clear sound is preferred.

Thanks in advance!Screenshot 2024-11-27 at 9.05.09 AM.png

Although they seem to be (too) expensive in the mainstream, I suggest you consider the Sennheiser Ambeo Plus which I have been using for more than a year. In addition to supporting most "surround" formats, the AMBEO processing creates a wide, deeper soundstage for all signal formats that seems to suit a large screen. It is also one of the very few soundbars that will mate with (and EQ with) any external wired sub as well as its proprietary wireless one. I also have a Samsung SB in another room and, while it is OK, the Sennheiser simply sounds better and, of course, the KEF subs are superior to the Samsung wireless sub.

The only caveat is that the Sennheiser is picky about comms. It is fine with eARC but, with regular ARC, it can require a restart every 1-2 months.

Thank you Kal. I looked at the Sennheiser but will certainly give it a closer look now that you recommended it. I don't mind a reboot every now and then if it sounds good! Crutchfield has marked it $500 off right now. :)

I tested Bose not good to me
Sonos I now use
two others I can’t think of there names
All best stuff.
it’s not a ultra home theater sound but good enough to make you feel so.
it integrates with most all
J river
Roon
Tidal and so on.
The app in my iPhone works great.
easy setup with my phone and calibrates through the phone.
in nyc I have a high end setup but Sonos is very easy and add on stuff too.
it’s wired or WiFi too.
it also allows to make adjustments for tone and volume of speakers.
jjst my two cents

Thanks, I really liked the sound of my Sonos. I really with the ARC included a remote as I hate using apps vs a remote. Glad to hear you're happy with the sound - I'll have to give it a listen as well.
