I am looking to upgrade my decades old MIT MI-350 Twin interconnects on my all Spectral system (SDR4000SL, DMC 30SC, and MA-240 amp. My speakers are connected with Spectral Ultralinear 2 770.

Is the MIT EVO 2c3D series a good candidate? Do these need the speaker cables to be the same? How does one match impedance?

The current EVO and 2C3D Level series cables will be a great upgrade path from the older MIT cables you currently have. The EVO Two and One IC's will have the adjustable impedance switch. The 2C3D Level Three, Two and One IC's will also have the adjustable impedance switch.

If you go with the same series for speaker cables the poles of articulation will line up and give you increased performance so this is a good idea.

Thank you Scott, I am a little confused. The cable I am looking at says: MIT Cables Heritage EVO Two 2C3D highend audio interconnects RCA 1,5 metre

Are Evo and 2C3D different cables?

Also, do I have to do anything to adjust impedance?

Thanks again, Scott.
Forgive my ignorance but how would I know what impedance to set for?

You need to look at the input impedance (the specifications) of the receiving piece of gear and set accordingly.
