Mid horn got much smaller, I guess this means they cross the midbass horn significantly higher in frequency.

They have added a tweeter between the 2 inch and the 1 inch.

I think the original looks somehow much more elegant with the big mid horn. However, I guess it was kind of a stretch for the mid horn in the Universum to come down to the woofer...now with a midbass horn that blend is probably better...as is the blend from mid to tweeter. Still, the extra complexity can make the crossover difficult to get right.

Yes 4 way is more difficult and I don’t know what the tweeter will add in value. I like that colour though

Interesting move going 4 way, brave even… wouldn’t have imagined they needed any extension up top. If there’s good balance already it will be interesting to hear how this new iteration works better.

The new colour is nice… would look good in the back of a Landrover disco.
