A crazy and extremely enjoyable recording. It is also a great tool to carry an analysis of sound reproduction free from our biases - no one knows how it should really sound!
Listening to the different media versions of it - LP , CD and SACD (DSD) in different systems can be very interesting - each has its points. Did you feel the trajectory of the bumble bee fly in track 4?
Yes, indeed, i have the LP and the CD but must say that the LP has not the dynamic range needed to fully "enjoy" the church bells...

I guess everybody knows it, but it´s soo awesome. She also gets me with "Fields Of Gold".
Bruckner #4 - Celibidache
This and some later recordings. After sitting through the whole symphony, the overly extended finale with the subtle ostinato is like a whole body katharsis for me.
