Hi all.

I just wanted to share my latest review for the Funk Firm 'Houdini and Achromat' on my website, www.Tannoyista.com

As some of you may have already read elsewhere the Houdini is something really special and I'm really blown away with it. For such a small thing, the Houdini has to be one on your list to buy.

You can read the full review here:

I hope you enjoy!
:)

What is the additional Square/rectangular spacer? Is that part of the Houdini?

Hello Gerard.

Thanks for reaching out. The spacer isn't a part of the Houdini, I added that to level the arm up a little. It's not needed.

I shall update my review with that so, thank you again.

:)

Fitted a Houdini to my ProJect RPM10.1 / Supex SD900 IV last weekend. Stunning improvements.

Hey.

That's great, many thanks for posting some the great images too.

I'm glad you're enjoying the Houdini. It's an amazing little thing. :)

I'm not doubting it works - I dont know the Houdini - but isn't the Houdini basically just the same idea as the Cartridgeman Isolator of several years back? The Houdini is better looking though.

Yes I believe it is. Maybe better executed. About 15 years ago a whole group of us on a DIY forum experimented with isolators on our cartridges following the Cartridgeman's device.
Ultimately we seemed to migrate back to where we started.
