And so we bid adieu to Huka Lodge as we take our final plane ride from Rotorua back to Auckland for the final two days of this magnificent journey

It's my favorite section of the entire Internet today; excellence Steve!
Beats all the news around town and abroad. The sun just shows up as I am writing this...it's in the air ... New Zealand. Some shots are just so inviting ... I really want to go.
 
When I was a child, this glacier reached all the way down to the valley floor

there were signs all along the path up to the glacier showing where it extended to and in what year
