Yes that post from Amir is amazing. Yeah, all of us are I guess at the beginning of our journey and just do not know any better. Amazing how he thinks we should all share his opinion.

yeah the more stuff you put in the more signal you lose. Therefore lowest watt amps, if they are matched to a speaker they can drive, will give you the highest amount of information on the record. Let me know when you compare various 45, 46, RE 604, AD1, 4304, 300b, 2a3, GM70, 211, 845, DET 25, etc. you will need to violate different amps and different tubes, that will require you to listen to some proper horns then the ones you claim. To really know if the information of the record is being communicated or glossed over when moving to a higher power push pull or SS amp, you will need to get into records. Really.
