After finding out 'Who's Next' was really... nothing to rave about, I thought I'd give Hoffman another try. This time I can say I think it's a gem.
 
I bought some DVD's from the Keith Jarrett Trio (Jarrett, Peacock and deJohnette). I know this music inside out from CD recordings, both studio and live, but never seen the live recording on DVD. Having the visual definitely adds a dimension to the experience. These guys are in deep trance and perfect sync, lead in prayer by Jarrett. Renewed appreciation for the genius of Jarrett, whom I have been listening to since adolesence. The track "Prism" never gets old. Initially recorded with the European quartet, but equally phenomenal with the Trio....
