I believe I just say they were dropping the price for Tidal's hi-rez tier probably as a way to counter Spotify's long past due announcement they were finally going to actually offer one.Tidal's server capacity will have to multiply somewhat, I expect they will increase prices for hi-rez.
Don't leave us hanging!Mq"B-1" is not at all what people think it is, on either side of the debate, or even what "experts" or "insiders" think it is (or was or whatever!).
It does have buried in it somewhere a clever, non patent-able, "observation", about digital audio that had the potential to
increase the perceived quality of digital recordings. This was obfuscated by numerous other proprietary "patent-able technologies", and marketing.
I will leave it to the listener to decide whether this was of sonic benefit or detriment...
Customers did however insist on having it, just like a lot of other exciting Tech.
Sigh, this one is still MQA mush, hope they get round to eliminating these 16/44 MQA albums asap.Tidal users rejoice!
