Whither MQA

Elliot, I am back in NYC this week with my wife on holiday. It's been a while. Who is the OG Ray's Pizza these days:)

Tidal's server capacity will have to multiply somewhat, I expect they will increase prices for hi-rez.
I believe I just say they were dropping the price for Tidal's hi-rez tier probably as a way to counter Spotify's long past due announcement they were finally going to actually offer one.

Mq"B-1" is not at all what people think it is, on either side of the debate, or even what "experts" or "insiders" think it is (or was or whatever!).
It does have buried in it somewhere a clever, non patent-able, "observation", about digital audio that had the potential to
increase the perceived quality of digital recordings. This was obfuscated by numerous other proprietary "patent-able technologies", and marketing.
I will leave it to the listener to decide whether this was of sonic benefit or detriment...
Customers did however insist on having it, just like a lot of other exciting Tech.

Don't leave us hanging!

I saw a one TB flash drive $20.

Tidal users rejoice!
MAX is here and albums like this one play like they're supposed to instead of the MQA mush:
