Smile.
Did you notice his comment on unequal speaker cables?
BTW did you notice Audio Research released a new mono amplifier?

Why are you posting a 12 month old video?

Jay has had two speakers since, including his current Sonus Faber speakers which beat every speaker he has ever owned, including these Wilsons

It's new to me. I posted that Sonus Faber videoalso. Someone disliked that also. It sort of begs the question. Would it not be time better spent finding something you like and commenting on that. life is short.

Very respectfully, I would say that Jay is in the extremely small minority of audiophiles that would maintain that his current SF SE17 is better than the Wilson Chronosonic XVX. I own an XVX so I am biased but normally SF speakers have a long run before replacement, especially at this level. Not so with the SE17 which was quickly replaced by the new Suprema. The SE17 has a Be tweeter which is a departure from SF tradition. I don't think the SE17 sold well at all. I quit looking at Jay's youtube when he went to the SE17. Even if I didn't own an XVX I would feel the same way and the Suprema employs all natural material drivers including their tweeter.. There's nothing inherently wrong with a Be tweeter but SF is not a manufacturer that I would buy a 250K speaker with a BE tweeter from. The Se17 was a failure and quickly discontinued by SF, IMO, no matter what Jay says.
