Let me make sure I understand this. I previously calibrated a dealer's Wisdom HT system with a Datasat RS20i. I used the crossover information provided by Wisdom and performed the Direct Live calibration as I would any other room. Do these new controllers provide all of that functionality? If so, where are channel trims and delays set? If in the box, what kind of processor needs to be in front of it?

"Dirac Live calibration done in an RS20i using Wisdom Audio loudspeaker definitions should give you great result.
What the new controller is bringing to the market is increased flexibility over the calibration process which ultimately transfer into increased performance.
Here are some of the feature included:
· Test tone: Phase Pulse (Polarity checking) Sine Wave (low end buzz and Rattle room chasing) and Full Band Pink Noise (Most Pre Proc only provided filtered limited pink noise)
· Speaker definition library (drop down Crossover definition / driver sensitivity Trim adjustment / PEQ )
· Driver output level as well as Driver Delay (driver alignment)
· Loudspeaker output level and Delay ( that is overall group delay)
· Ability to overwrite Dirac Level and Delay setting post calibration
· Live Tuning Mode Ability to add manual EQ and save up to 4 different profile (The Frequency Response graph shows live edits instantly.)
· Wizard Mode Ability to adjust loudspeaker profile
· Setup and automation via Ethernet and IP-based HTML page.
So from a Home Theater perspective all you need is a processor rendering Channels, which you would set a Unity Gain with no Delay and perform/store the calibration in the Wisdom system Controler.
Outside the dark room the SC can be configured as a multiroom system (up to 16 Zone) and take advantage of the 16 input 32 output routing.
Both Controller runs at 24 bits 96KHz internal processing with a Signal to Noise Ratio of -110 dB all in and out being XLR"
