Words I Would Rather Not Have in the Lexicon

"game changer"

Used a lot by sales people to invoke grandiosity, competitiveness, and status, like an absurd sports metaphor.

Whose game, whose rules, who is playing and why?

Also implies that deception and manipulation are fine, its just business, suckers and con artists, winners and losers.

Buying things just to show off, lateral moves characterized as some kind of profound re-definition of a product or media.

A "white shoe and plaid blazer" term, flee the utterer.

Corporate Drivel

Corporate speak/ drivel as created by over payed PR firms is among the most pathetic, meaningless
forms of communication.

Overpaid, pinstripe wearing, parted hair, red faced tooles offering indecipherable bullshit to cover up the fact that they offer no value, and are robbing shareholders, customers, and employees blind.

:D

"paradigm shift"
"right-sizing"
"resource review for company optimization of shareholder return"
"government support"
IRS -- coming from a farm background, Internal Revenue and "Service" seem to fit well together...
"repurpose"

And don't get started on "audiophile" terms many reviewers use...
