The End Of A 35 Year Journey ---Zellaton -The Reference Ultra Final Frontier

I never noticed it enough to comment on it in my two or three visits. The lighting looks about the same and the Wilsons certainly weren't blocking it. I think there might be a lesson here someplace...
it's a bitch getting old Ken;)

What happens if they don't?

Are there any other users driving them with your amps?
also if you notice from the photo above my amp is dual mono dual power supply with 32 wpc Pure Class A. Each Power Supply has 4 huge transformers and each channel has 2 huge power supplies

Hoping you can join with Zellaton, Soulution, Air Tight and Reed this weekend in Dallas at SWAF. I’ll be playing Plural Evo’s in an analog only (Reed idler) setup. Please bring your records ;)

Dear Members , I’m wrapping up a lovely weekend at southwest audio fest . I wanted to take a minute to give my impression of the Audioarts NYC room run by Gideon Schwartz that featured The zellaton Plural Evos .
These speakers exhibited exceptional performance, boasting impressive scale, remarkable speed, superb realism, a highly immersive soundstage, and the finest bass presentation of any driver-based speaker at the show. The system was powered by the Soulution 711 stereo amplifier and the 727 preamplifier, paired with its phonostage. A Reed turntable equipped with the Air Tight Opus cartridge completed the setup.

Though vinyl was the exclusive medium used, Gideon thoughtfully curated a diverse selection, enabling us to thoroughly evaluate the system’s capabilities. The fast, articulate, and tightly controlled bass provided a solid foundation, allowing the mids and highs to shine with remarkable clarity—untainted and true to the source. These speakers are simply phenomenal, especially considering their competitive price point (I believe around $80k MSRP, though this is unconfirmed).

Among my group of friends, we unanimously agreed it was the standout room of the show.

For future shows, I would recommend Gideon consider incorporating a streaming setup, as many potential customers rely exclusively on streaming and would appreciate the ability to test the speakers with their own reference tracks. Additionally, exploring the DS Audio cartridge system for the turntable could be worthwhile; the synergy between the speed of an optical cartridge and the precision of the Zellaton drivers paired with the Soulution gear would undoubtedly be extraordinary; which is what I believe zellaton pairs with in Munich audio show !

Those little speakers will be making their way to my home after the show as they will be on loan from Gideon to me as I await delivery of my Zellaton Reference Ultra. It seems that a lot of WBF members who attended SWAX also shared the same opinion as I have been getting countless DM's over the past 2 days

They perform way above their price point. You will love them!

I gave Gideon and this system a big congratulations in the SWAF 2025 show report I just published.
