MoFi has never made any of their mastertings available for download, anywhere. These are all Sony SACDs. I own every one of these SACDs btw,
and they are all very good discs.
those original SACD didn't do particularly well demonstrating the so-called "advantages" of DSD/SACD in comparison to other formats within not only my system, but others I used for demo. I was shocked(not really) so many people liked em, but perhaps being an analog devotee for such a long period of time ... my expectations were much higher.
BTW, the best hi-rez "download" I've recently heard, was a LP to 24/192 rip of LZ2(RL). Open & dynamic as I've ever heard LZ sound (they actually sounded younger and more energetic here, which makes little sense) and one can certainly comprehend the possible tracking issues considering this particular LP pressing and the groove readers of that era.
I've got the SACD set from Columbia but find myself picking up the MoFi SACDs as they become available. I generally prefer the MoFi masters, but haven't done a lot a serious comparisons. I really just like listening to a lot of these albums.
