New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

It would give me the greatest satisfaction to see the Cavs swept in 4 on their home court

Last night's game I thought was very good

Phil...hopefully the Celts will take him and Kyrie will demand a trade and he will go to the Lakers in return for Lorenzo and future draft choices. I will revoke my Lakers fan club card if James ever becomes a Laker

Well you will get your wish on a sweep. You may have to revoke your Lakers fan club card.

It would make Jerry Buss roll over in his grave to see James as a Laker

+1 Steve. I meant the sweep thing, not the LeBron in green horror story. :)

So it's not just the Lakers fans and the Celtics fans, but a Warriors starter. :D First of all, it that happens, the league should just close down and award the trophy in November. :D

Draymond Green discussed his future on Thursday at a NBA Finals media availability if LeBron James signs with the Warriors.

He was asked about the possibility of James signing with Golden State when he becomes a free agent this summer.

"I think if LeBron James went to the Golden State Warriors then there would be a high possibility I won't be here," Green said.

Get out the broom. The sweep is on

Well where will James shop his next ring

Only place I see where it gives him a good chance of a ring is if he goes to Houston but shades of his first few years in Miami

Cavs give in and take James out of the game with 4:03 left

This team is a dynasty

They could do no wrong tonight

Dynasty indeed. With Iggy back they really look like a death squad. Merciless offensive power and good defense. July 1 is start of free agency. So much speculation now where James will choose. I hope he stays in his hometown. There will be more respect that way.

Lebum doesn't neccessarily want respect.
What he REALLY wants is rings and stats. And money of course
No way he will stay in Cleveland for the team or his hometown, unless they buy the best possible team around LeBum, so he sees the best chance to fulfill LeBums personal egoistic goals

The main problem imo, is the coach. Who is going to be his coach is important. He lived with Tyrone for 4 years for a reason, to let him do what he wants to do on the court. His coach is mostly for timeouts, substitution, and media day.

The NBA championship series was anti-climatic. The real champion was determined in the Warriors - Rockets series.

I only watched the game out of the corner of my eye last night as we were out with friends. The result was not a surprise.

It will be interesting to watch free agency this summer as teams jockey for position to challenge the seemingly invincible Warriors.

well the only team I see beating the Warriors in the west is the Rockets and more so with LeBron

If The Warriors emerge next year as the Western Conference champs I still don't believe any team in the East can beat the GSW in a 7 game series

I believe so too, Steve. One thing that I see in this Warriors team is each super star has put away any ego or individualistic agenda. The roar of Steph at a stoic KD after KD nailed the 3 point shot in game 3 showed this best. An MVP supporting an MVP. No envy, no issues, that is what the parts of a well oiled engine does, pure mechanics for a job to be done well. Hats off to the players of the Warriors. Danny needs to create a baby death squad lineup next season to make things interesting.

The Celtics looked pretty darn good to me in the playoffs - and their two best players were sidelined with injuries. Perhaps they will become the team from the East that can challenge the Warriors.

Looking forward to see how the Celtics play next year with Kyrie and Hayward back in the lineup.

I hope to see these guys at their best too and intact. Injuries are a big downer and hopefully everyone stays healthy. Warriors were so fortunate to have their lineup restored to full force with the return of Iggy. And one of the worst things that could happen is when the likes of Chris Paul couldn't play game 7 because of a hamstring pull.

I hate to sound like a broken record, BUT, I have no idea how to evaluate the "modern game" and I use the term game very loosely. Having watched no regular season games and most of the playoffs which was supposed to represent the "best" I have to say I am not impressed. Even the Warriors, IMHO, if a team played with defense and rebound strength, could be beaten. But when the game is played from 24 feet out and when the Warriors do it much better than any other, statistics are going to favor the Warriors over any other team. Just my opinion, but, what makes the Warriors better than anyone else is the fact they do have a 15-18 foot game with KD to depend on when their 24 foot game doesn't work, unlike any other team.

Kerr is smarter than the rest and understands that there is no other team that can match his from the 24 foot line and when his 3 stars fail, unlike what we saw with Houston, he has KD that can play with high efficiency from 15-18 feet.

When the game is played from 24 feet out rebounds are further out the Warriors are never going to lose.
