What is this speaker? This runs on SETs? What db and impedance?

Caelin

when did you get the horns

These are from the Pure Audio Project
These are easy to build open baffel kits
There are several models
This is the “Quintet” model which has quad 15” woofers and a Horn for the mid-tweet.
Very efficient and easy impedance.
Can be driven easily with a 300B 8 watts.

I plan to try bi-amp with a First Watt crossover and running dual 2A3 amps. Will be interesting. Also am building a layered bamboo baffel for them.

Which 2a3 amps

Dynamikks Monitor 10SL, 93db, 8 ohm nominal, 6 ohm minimum.

This is all passive? Half active is active from what frequency

The one in the video is the Monitor 10.15 and it is 96db fully passive (can also be made half active) with 8 ohm (min around 5-6 ohms) impedance. All Dynamikks are SET friendly.

I really like the look of this room. Could you add a custom W bass bin with a couple of 15” vintage drivers as a subwoofer for the total system? That is basically same recipe as what Kevin did historically. Quite cheap to make if you felt so inclined or buy a cabinet and add your own drivers / crossover.

The room where this System resides atm is really quite small.
How big would such a W bass bin be? I have seen the "original" bass Support from LV and it is really huge
Do you happen to have a building plan and know what Drivers to use for such a monster?
