This hobby has jumped the shark.
I totally disagree. I think the hobby presently is very vibrant. Vinyl, digital streaming and tape all are growing simultaneously.
I actually think the cost of reasonably high-end sound has come down over time.

sigh...This is no Apolyt, or an Apolyt copy. The Apolyt is completely air-based, this one not. On top of that the Apolyt allows four tonearms. The belt drive of the Apolyt is two side based, it bears many advantages to a one sided solution.
I had dinner with Nishikawa san after the event. He said his next project is to design a tonearm to pair with Zero.Would it be a new manufacture of the SME 3012 R ?
