This is my personal favorite amplifier for driving MBL 101E Mk. II speakers (after two listening sessions), although I suspect the Absolare hybrid and the Lamm hybrid also would be fantastic.

In Don's system, compared to the Audio Research Corporation REF 750 SE, I think the Atlas Eclipse Mono does a very respectable job at a fraction of the price of the REF 750 SE.

MBL just released their first hybrid amplifier especially for you Ron, the Beverly Hills 90210 Hybrid Strahler :)
