Hope they last well.

You will find they are very transparent to recordings. They show through concert hall ambience better. The only thing is with your preference for amplified music and because you like it more in room in front iirc, as compared to mid hall or back of the hall, Tak do that with a beefing of the midrange
Thank you.
I'm finding that the Elrogs make images more palpable and holographic and pull them out into the room a little more. There is much better layering of depth in the soundstage and, you say, I am hearing lots of small and ambient details from the back of the stage that I never knew were there.

Thank you for your answer.
If you find the Zilla too bright, your ears must have bled with the Octave amps :p
I find the Zilla very transparent and yet very organic
Do you use the Challengers and the Zilla in a bi-amping configuration or do you switch between amps?
Kronzilla is not mine. I had one to audition. I was in KR audio today and returned it. Marek Genchev is very nice guy. I really like Kronzilla but I would have to try DXL, that would probably suit me well. :) See these Challenge monoblocs are that good. This evening I was listening to XRCD Jazz at the Pawnshop and I was in a heaven, amazing sound. I was just going crazy, almost in tears of joy. Going through Mola Mola, Audio Analogue Maestro cd transport, Challengers to Westminsters through pretty ordinary cables, but wow wow wow. I am so happy

You should try a Lampi DAC (another awesome eastern european brand) and then you will definitely shed some tears of joy ;)

What do you think I am doing lately? :) Trying to get some best of the best Aries Cerat and at the last moment also Lampizator Pacific. But I have to admitt, I like Tambaqui a lot. By reading this forum I know that nirvana is still ahead of me. Thanks so much to this forum and your kind wisdom advice, I know I am going the right direction. (y) I am getting there, you know? I can´t wait till I get these awesome toys to play my favorite music. We need to enjoy music even under the most horrible situations, music is totally different world, and I like it. Good night my friend

Have you tried the Kassandra or Helena DACs? I have Kassandra at home with a Genus integrated amp and love them.

See that is a problem cause there is no dealer near by me. And to purchase something I never heard is very risky. There is Lampizator just cross the border in Poland, so I have lots of to think about. I like both ideas though, very hard to decide. I think at the end it will depends who will give me better and quicker deal. I think if I go either way will be happy camper.

PM me and we can perhaps discuss a way to demo a DAC.

Did you, by chance, purchase the Elrog TM300B tubes or the standard 300B tubes?

Speaking of lasting, of the original 8 Gold Lions that I purchased, 4 have died. They lasted about 9 months. I've since been told by someone who owned the Allnic A-6000 for 10 years that the amp is hard on tubes and that it is best to set the manual bias on each tube to the lowest point in the range suggested by the manufacturer.

I am surprised by that as I have found 300bs to last a long time in the amps I had that used them. Glad to hear though that you are enjoying the 33s + Allnic. I am sure that is a great sounding combo.

Thank you.
Yes, I've had the same experience with 300Bs. I used to own Mastersound 300B monoblocks and I never burned out a single tube in the 8 years that I had those amps.

Unfortunately, that particular Model of Allnic is a known tube eater.
