I have Duracell one, but also silver top for the sake of playing when i need to swap something except tubes :) (and it looks super nice in Black/Silver).
Knob of course black. Footers are originally kind of goldish but I'm looking to swap them for silver ones which have M4 thread. On this topic if anybody knows any good footers like this, please let me know. Been looking into Isoacoustics Oreo Indigo (preferred option) but not sure if they have this M4 thread. Stacore is M6 or M8, Stillpoints I can't figure out, while Finite Elemente ones are also M6/M8  . So far seems like bFly Pure Tube 1 might be the option...

I went with Duracell (black face, black sides, copper top) at the last minute and am glad I did. The rest of my equipment is all black, but I think the Pacific would look a bit utilitarian if all black too. But I can understand a different color for the top for matching. My speakers and bases are walnut so having the red based copper was quite natural. The copper top matches the floor in the room too.

Do you have a picture of the black/silver one?

Actually the one on the picture went to a friend of mine who has guys on hand being able to play with Aluminium. I wanted to change few things, namely holes for rectifier on copper top and silver one are a bit moved towards right (not centered) so i can’t plug in U52 tube for example, and this will be corrected (is already corrected) and i wanted to have holes for output tubes bigger so i can plug in T100 for example without adapter or removing the top plate. Recti cut out on copper one as example.. 46A244DE-34D1-4842-8112-9CF62659B9DD.jpeg

(corrected one came from the water jet cutter, before anodizing, aircraft grade Al)

I know it can be boring to some but I do love the all black matte (sides/top) coupled with matte silver knob and silver footers (silver top screws optional). Complements the black and silver tones throughout the rest of my system, remains beautiful (imho) albeit understated and stays very low maintenance for dust and fingerprints!

What colours are possible for the knob and footers? The knob can be golden, silver or black, and the footers - just golden or silver. Is that correct?

The Lampi Pacific is in the house....literally. Actually it was dropped off at a neighbors house by mistake who was not home. When DHL said they delivered it, I told them not to my house. I went walking around the neighborhood to find it. Once I did I freaked because it was so heavy. I went home to get a dolly. I did not know the Pacific container has wheels on it. That is pure class and really cool. I am waiting for my Lucas Audio Server next. My system already sounds incredible so I can't wait to hear what happens once broken in. Now I can sell my Lumin X-1. Today was also a good day as a case of Kosta Browne Pinot Noir showed up at my door today. Cheers!

Silver footers are possible as i just got them and they look sooooo much better then golden ones. Knob as you mentioned.
Expecting the silver top i exchanged bolts on the top plate from black to silver ones - special Swiss non magnetic, anti vibration bolts and sound became even better:D:D:p. Tweak trick is in the bolts - essential change:D

I would hunt for titanium bolts:p! They will definitely bring further improvement and would make even 300B tubes sing;)

Enjoy both your Pacific and Pinot Noir.
Applied together bring a lot of synergy ;)
And synergy is a keyword in our hobby;).

Hi guys, I have a newbie question,

Is there any sound difference between the pacific single ended and the balanced one? the tube change is more noticeable in the single ended than the balanced one, maybe?

I think, a balanced version in general should be superior to an SE one, especially in a fully balanced system. But I would go for a SE dac due to the much higher cost and the need to have 4 matched tubes...

I have not seen Pacific with a copper top plate like my GG2. Is this option not possible for Pacific?
