Someone has or listened the amp Kondo Melius?

I am a big fan of ANJP and Kondo and i think Melius is really no bad.
32 watt are good for many speakers,at not very high volume, and use tube EL 34 that i like, not like triode 2A3 or 845 but is really a good tube for me,i had in Leak and Radford sta 15

But never listened,only in Munich.

Some listened well?

I don’t like the overture which is EL34.

You dont like Ouverture because listened many things much better but one combo with G70I and Melius i think is much much better than Ouverture

Just buy Kagura and G70 Gian. Wait a few more years.

I dont want to buy Melius,i have absolutly no interest in kagura, only asked for curiosity if someone listened well Melius

I own Melius with G700i it's a really powerful combo, much more than 32w on the paper. I drive TAD Cr1tx easily

I listened a couple of Melius amps and two of my friends still have it. It’s a very good amplifier.

Have tried in comparison G70 and G700?
Big difference
Yes G70 more natural but less silence than G700 who is much more powerfull. I choose the G700 because my speakers are 86DB in 4ohms
and sound is bigger

Really, same circut board overture &melius.
One modification you can convert a overture to melius in a halfhour, you only need to resolder two cables and solder in two 50kohm resistors.

Don’t need to change anything, you put the volume at 100% and use a pre of a Dac with own volume. But a Melius will be better than the overture. I owned both. People who don’t like Kondo don’t know what they are able to do. They are unique

You can do it that way, but if you remove the Alps potentiometer and input switch from the signal path it definitely sounds better.

Do you really mean, that the amp section of an actual Overture is EXACTLY the same as a Melius?
I mean not just the same circuitry, but even the exact same parts in the same dimension, quality and selection, including transformer, caps, power supply dimension, etc.
If not, it is just quite similar, but not same. I think, the latter is correct.
And so we will be able to hear differences, too…

If splitting the circut board into two (melius) and an extra board power supply instead of freely wired overture is worth €11,000 more to you, please do so. But not to me, I have heard one of converted overture.

No I use the Melius and G700i. But a friend who own an Overture was Little short with is Sasha 2. Is acting with is streamer Dac with Leedh processing volume control and the Pm2i with full volume in order to have no distorsion and now he can drive easily the Wilson.

Of course, it will always sound better with a good preamplifier. The input stage of Melius and Overture is the same. A signal source direct to poweramp often has problems with the current or impedance problems to drive long cables. this is the advantage of a preamp and you are more flexible change the poweramp.
