When these records arrive, I might have to lose my discipline and go check out my office a little ;). Just to let you guys know these records are given to me for charity. A water filtration machine will be sent to a very remote needy school for small kids near Thai/Myanma border.

nice gesture Tang! :) and thumbs up to the General for his part too.

some positive things are happening in the world.

Yes, good things are still happening amidst all these. Your tulips still blossom. My flowers are still blooming. We are now sounding like Bob, Mike. :D

really beautiful! tropical flowers are addictive.

now Bob will have to show us 'his' Butchart Gardens

i'm still a few weeks away from flower time (it won't look like yours). last weekend i did yard work, trimming back my lavender, and clearing wind blown branches, chain sawed out some dead stuff. loved every minute i was out there working. then it took till today for the ache's to fade. another round this weekend.

Rode microphone, plugged into a digital camera.

Flat curve and the db set to minus ten.

Kindest regards,G.
Nice choice of mic G. Rode is an Aussie company that makes some nice studio mikes and also a very nice small mixing desk that I’m thinking of putting in. I am setting up a small studio as part of a distance connected teaching space so I can continue to work from home and gearing up is a nice part of the process (I would go a Neumann if I was more cashed up lol).

My uncle also had a couple of sennheiser shotgun mikes back in the day which would have been perfect for now and for YouTube’s of the system but my aunt gave them to a film and television museum along with his film cameras after he passed. So simple USB mics will have to do. Just picked up a Blue Yeti condenser mic that will sound good with the horns.

Hope you are well and avoiding the plague and all the crazy.

Best wishes from down under
